Data Warehouse - COGNOS Cubes

This course will allow you to learn ways to reconcile Payroll information with FINET information. Using the Labor Distribution cube as a learning tool, students will have the opportunity to obtain data relevant to their own agencies by wage types, using charge dollars and charge hours as measures. Data will be displayed starting from the summary level and drilling down to the employee detail level. Different views of the data will be seen, depending on the selections made. Students can play with various tools such as charts, data ranking, zero suppression, etc. to change the look and feel of the cube.
